It was major Nickness in Toronto the first week of September. He was EVERYWHERE. On the 4th, he did a Much On Demand interview at Much Music so a friend and I went down. We weren't able to get tickets in but we got to stand outside the window with all the other
fans who weren't able to get in. I had my thank you card all ready (laminated too! lol) to give to him but unfortunately, he didn't get it.
No worries though, cause there's always the next day! On the 5th, he had a radio interview to do at Z103.5. After a hella long 2 hour bus/subway ride, we got down to the studios just before the interview started. When he was done, Nick was asked to go on the balcony
to wave and talk to the fans. But, because the man is just TOO nice, Nick told the DJ that he'd rather go out to talk to the fans personally! He spent about an hour greeting every single fan there (about 150), me being one of them. At first, I wasn't very close and
there were a couple fans in front of me. Since I had gotten his autograph yesterday, I decided not to ask him to sign anything and to just give him a Thank You
Card instead. He took it and was about to sign it but I called out, "No, its for you!" He looks up and asks, surprised, "It's for me?" I tell him yes and he replies, "Oh, okay. Thanks!" I'm not sure what he did with it cause I couldn't see above the heads, but
he got it, and that's all that matters LOL
So that's the story. It worked out pretty well and with Nick so accessible lately, I don't think fans will have much trouble getting the card to him. The other Boys, I'm not so sure about. But hey, if I can do it (and I thought I'd NEVER get to meet the Boys),
then anybody can! lol So go and print, print, print!
